Go Green Solar offers complete solar kits designed by That Solar Guy for our customers. Each Complete Solar Kit is based on a careful design match of modules to inverters however, no two kits are ever the same. Your kit will have a unique Bill of Materials that is developed after talking with you at length, seeing your plans, pictures, and getting to know your project like it was one of our own.

This 3185W microinverter based kit is great for those with small electric bills or who want to shave off a big chunk of their usage. The systems take less than 300ft² of roof space so even a small roof should accommodate the solar modules.

The 225-500kWh generated by these systems is a good amount of energy, enough to offset most of your lighting or even you air conditioning use. The average American uses 920kWh per month. Based on that average this system could provide 24-54% of your usage. If you're a below average consumer, a 3000W system could greatly reduce your electric bill.

A wonderful feature about micro-inverters is the granularity. You can build a system from ANY number of modules. It's important to know that if your roof is just a little too small to fit the modules in a kit or you have a little extra room to fit 2 more modules, NO PROBLEM. Let us know and we can alter the racking, wiring, and other Balance of System components. Micro-inverters yield great flexibility in system design.

This size system is good for those:

That have a medium to high electric bill

That have a pool, or people at home all day

That have a medium size roof (a good 400sqft)

Each Complete Solar Kit is designed, drafted, picked, packaged, and shipped for YOU.

Each Solar Kit Includes:

13 245W Solar Modules

Generally, wattages are increasing AND prices are going down. Your Complete Solar Kit is always based on a module that is found to reside in that "sweet spot" of $/Watt, making your components the best "bang for your buck."

Racking

The number of feet, flashings, rails, splice kits, and clamps will be determined from your final plan set. Your kit will come with flashings and sealant.

When ordering, you will need to know the type of roof you have.

Inverters

Enphase M215 Grid-Tie Microinverters

Your Complete Solar Kit is based on the best micro-inverters in the business. These inverters are backed by world class technical & customer support. They come with an unparalleled 25 year warranty that matches the 25 year performance module warranty. One of the best features of the micro inverter is the ability to size your system in 1 module increments.

Conductors

All conductors are included in That Solar Guy kits.

All the AC wire from module to module

All the AC wire from the j-box to the AC disconnect

All the AC wires from the AC Disconnect to the Main Service Panel are included.

All your grounding wires are included too

During our design conversations with you, we will determine the approximate lengths, then add a bit more to your spools. By knowing how much current has to be carried and how far, we can determine the proper gauge of conductor required.

All your grounding wire is included as well.

Conduit and BOS

That Solar Guy's Complete Solar Kits are distinct from anything available to a homeowner on the internet. Your solar kit comes with a super complete Balance of System. All the 80 little parts and pieces that make up your solar system come in your kit. Don't be fooled by other companies claiming COMPLETE kits, read closely and you'll see the Bill of Materials is just Modules, inverters, racking, and a few miscellaneous items.

How to Install Solar Yourself

The installation of a solar system, even from a complete kit is considered above the average homeowner's skill set and should not be taken upon lightly. Each task is rather simple, but you will be working at heights, on a angle, probably in the heat of the bright sun, working with power tools, hoisting large expensive pieces of glass up ladders and across a roof peppered with racking and wiring.

You'll also be working with DC voltages above 300VDC and household 240V AC. You should be good with simple math and be mechanically inclined. If you're willing to give it a try, it can be a rewarding experience both in saving you a lot of money and of giving you a great sense of accomplishment.

If self-installation is not for you, find a local solar contractor to help you with the process.

Call 866-798-4435 to give us details about your house and we can quickly provide a good estimate of how much the kit would produce if installed at the proposed location under proposed tilt and azimuth. You'll need to provide your zip code, your roof tilt and compass heading of the roof pitch.
