We are proud to introduce a new series of roadway
luminaire designed around powerful LED light source. The ASTRO
luminaire is designed to light pathways, bikeways, streets and
parking lots.

The upper body and door are die cast aluminum housings. The
optical system is made of an aluminum hydroformed or segmented
reflector with a tempered clear flat or sag lens. The flat glass optical
system complies with Dark Sky requirements. The IP65 rating
provides a better overall light loss factor, reduces maintenance. The
light output is controlled over the entire life of the luminaire by a
heat sink combined with an intelligent electronic driver.

The ASTRO luminaire is designed to provide constant lighting levels during the entire life of the luminaire.

Features

1. Provides Type I, Type II and Type III IESNA distributions
2. Provide an excellent visual comfort for drivers in reducing glare
   substantially in comparison with traditional cobra head luminaires
3. Provide adaptive light to road and pedestrian conflict area via an intelligent electronic driver
4. Reduce risk of accidents by providing excellent correlated color
   temperature and color rendering index for good objects detection
5. Reduce the cost of electrical consumption while meeting IESNA lighting levels
6. Can be easily operated by solar panel system due to its low electrical consumption
7. Offer instant start and reach full output in a short time after
   electrical shutdown without abrupt and frequent flashes
8. Reduce maintenance charges over the entire life of the luminaire due to its IP65 rating and long life of the light source
9. Comply with Dark Sky requirements when operating with flat glass
10. Can replace easily a high intensity discharge cobra head in any roadway application
11. Provide higher lux per watt ratio than traditional cobra head
    luminaires.
