PV-Cables 6' Huber & Suhner Radox PV Output Cable, 55.0006
Radox solar connectors consist of a housing and contact element. Lamella contacts made of high quality copper beryllium are responsible for the high current carrying capacity of the connectors. Without a lamella contact these advantages cannot be achieved. The lamella contact as a flexible element provides mechanical compensation between socket and pin. The lamella produces a large contact surface between the elements and guarantees a low, constant transition resistance. Made with PV-Wire that has an extra layer of insulation for use on ungrounded arrays in conjunction with transformerless inverters.
This type of wire is required to meet the 2008 NEC if you are using a transformerless inverter. All cables are manufactured with #10awg PV Wire, which is UL 4703 rated
and double jacketed/insulated. PV Wire is now needed for ungrounded
arrays in conjunction with transformerless inverters.
